Universal Human Rights – Do you know them? Violence, intolerance, racism, discrimination seems to be part of a never ending story. More and more people need to flee their homes and/or their countries, in the hope to find safety and peace elsewhere in our world. Justice. Equality. Pain. Intention. These labels are connected and the cause of many debates, even of increasing violence. On individual level, on global level. In my opinion, the focus should be on pain. And intention. That will lead to the moment ALL lives matter again. [READ MORE]
In my opinion, it is not only the responsibility of leaders (political, financial, corporate, etc.) to educate themselves, but also our responsibility too… you and me, as neighbors living on our globe together. The saying “knowledge is power” can be used in a good way. Educating yourself about the views of your neighbor, will lead to more understanding, tolerance and even though you might not agree with other views, I strongly believe this will increase compassion and kindness towards each other. Just some thoughts for you to take into the weekend. Last week, I published a post to have you think about the sentence: “Being human is no excuse”. To share your thoughts about it, for the purpose of seeking understanding for different perspectives. Getting close to the end of a study I enrolled in, in which I have to do a lot of soul-searching and view my own perspectives, belief-systems and behavior, today, some thoughts of mine for you to ponder on. See it as an opportunity to self-reflect 😉
